Album: Red Album

The radio-ready Port-And-Beans seems designed to lull us into Weezer's increasingly fuzzy sweater-embrace - more Sugar Ray than El Scorcho.

But then, what to make of this bizarre mash-up of Quaker Hymn (Gift To Be Simple), Quasi-rap, and stomp rock?

It's strange...and almost ALMOST trancends it's own novelty. Time will tell if the rest of the Red Album will intrigue as much as this.

heh...i think it's a good thing too....think being the key word. I'll admit though..right now I'd rather a Weezer we've never heard before than the Weezer we've been hearin' for the past 7 years
