San Francisco...I am starting to get jealous. The line-up for this summer's inaugural Outside Lands Festival is shaping up to be one of the hottest. I suggest heading to npr.org right now to check out Wilco's show streaming live from Washington D.C.'s 9:30 Club. I caught them at the Shubert Theatre on Sunday night and I gotta tell you....I was completely sucked in. The crowd and band were one on this night in this intimate room. I have not experienced that feeling in a long while. My friend Bryan said it best, "sonic bliss". I have not been on the Wilco train since the beginning but I am now glad to have a sea... MORE

Received an email from Wilco HQ that their Washington DC concert will be streamed live tonight. John Doe(of the legendary band X) will be opening starting at 8:00 pm EST. The new Wilco Album Sky Blue Sky is fantastic. I've only been into these guys for a few years mostly because my ear wasn't developed enough for their earlier stuff... wasn't into the twang rock. Now I love it. But what pulled me in was their Ghost is Born album and their live show. The live experience for me is the most powerful and these guys are great to see. They jam out the tunes and the band is friggin amazing. The new album is almost all good tunes but here is one fav... MORE
