You Am I is one of my favorite bands with some great songwriting and an amazing mix of Kinks, Stones, Beatles, and Who influences. So I was quite pleasantly surprised when some random Australian added me as a MySpace friend cause he saw they were one of my influences. He then recommended The Lovetones to me. The Lovetones are another example of a band that should be huge over here if we had any taste! I believe they've written a few numbers for Brian Jonestown Massacre... MORE
