The Cardigans

When I first heard The Cardigans, I did not like them at all. The music sounded pointless and the vocals annoyingly sweet. Then, they got a bit dirty and a bit tortured with Gran Turismo and convinced me that they can write memorable, emotionally-powerful songs. I'm having a general Cardigans day today, and found the video for "Sick And Tired" from their 1996 "Life" album. I've liked the album a lot for years but I'd never seen the video until today. I always liked this album much more than anything the Cardigans have done. What do you think their best album has been thus far, and why (if you like them, of course)? I picked this one because of how dark it is, and I love the production and variety of instrumentation. Plus, these songs were just great. "Explode", "Higher" and "Hanging Around" are my personal favorites.... MORE
