DJ Quik and Teddy Riley both played huge parts in Snoop Dogg's new album "Ego Trippin". Teddy Riley produced a bunch of songs to help Snoop branch out into his R&B/Funk exploration, while DJ Quik mixed the entire album. This will be the first time Snoop has had a consistent presence on the back end of his album since "Doggystyle" in the early 90s. Although Snoop Dogg's new album Ego Trippin' won't be released until March, the video for his first single Sexual Seduction (changed from Sexual Eruption), will be released next week. This track is a little different from the gangsta vibe Snoop usually goes for. Snoop Dogg has a new full length cartoon movie called "The Blue Carpet Treatment". The weird thing is that album came out two years ago and he's already released a new album since, maybe this is a project that faced delays and is just now seeing the light of day. There's no official word on the plot of this animated film, but from looking at the trailer I'm sure you can draw a pretty accurate conclusion. There's slight cartoon nudity and foul language, beware.

Lil Kim has been ramping up her public profile in the last month, presumably as a lead in for her upcoming album. In addition to the Ms. G.O.A.T. mixtape, she's lending guest verses to everyone in town.
