Just yesterday we were discussing Daddy Yankee's song "Gasolina" as a result of John McCain bringing it up in Phoenix recently. Well, today Sheryl Crow shares her new video for "Gasoline" and it too gets political. And, as with all things Crow performs, it rocks. Check it out: Watch out Polar Bear! ouch! I love the song and video both. Quite different from Daddy Yankee's tune...

Sheryl Crow announced on her Web site that she has adopted a little boy, Wyatt Steven (named after the singer/songwriter’s father and her little brother). Crow wrote that she and the child, who was born two weeks ago, “are enjoying some very private family time.” This is the first child for the single Crow, who has been linked to bike legend Lance Armstrong and guitar legend Eric Clapton. I was out last night with my good friend Sean enjoying a nice evening meal and drinkypoos in a pub by a lake (The WireMill). There was an electrical storm which you could see across the lake. We were talking about music (no change there then, [laughs]) and talk turned to favourite Sheryl Crow tracks (she was involved with Lance Armstrong at one point). Every human has an emotional side. Mine is like a giant monument covered with a camouflage net - always there, but only visible on occasion.
