when i found out that sean lennon is playing in northampton i got so so excited. i was a huge fan of "into the sun" when it first came out. and with his features and his music..how can you not draw comparison to his father? it's impossible. but i am sure he's used to it.
i love the video for this song. make sure you catch a cameo by lindsay lohan. very exciting, erm.

Here's the new video for Dead Meat by Sean Lennon, the first single to be taken from 'Friendly Fire'.
I really like this song, sounds very Jon Brion-ish. Its so gentle and beautiful, and the video really accompanies it well. He does sound like a nasally Elliott Smith but there is also something about his voice that is so airy and wistful, and really grabs you. Thank god he doesnt sound like his mum!

Well, it looks like things have turned around within the past half-day, for me. I'm not feeling bad about the aforementioned Anthony and Michael incidents anymore.There's this guy in my U.S. History class, Erik. For those of you who missed it, Sean Lennon was interviewed on "All Things Considered" the other day to promote his new album. He's very eloquent about music, having famous parents, etc. He also tells a poignant story about hearing his father on the radio at a moment he needed to hear it most. Yeah, so I'm totally in love with this song.& I wanted an excuse to post something.It's actually the only song of his I've really listened to.But from what I've heard of the rest of the album, it sounds quite good.
