Saigon's latest single "Believe It" hit the streets today, but not on Atlantic Records. As Frost reported last year, the rapper has been trying to get out of his contract with the major label after his sole single "Pain in My Life" barely broke into the top 100 on the Hip-Hop Songs chart. After an endless string of delays on his album release, and enough drama to fill a movie, rapper Saigon has called it quits. Saigon broke the news on his Myspace blog, even before telling his own record label his decision. Saigon now plans to spend time with his nonprofit organization In Arms Reach and Abandoned Nation, an organization that helps the children of NYC whose parents are incarcerated.

Recently, rapper Saigon threatened to leak his own album due to frustrations with Atlantic Records. He unleashed a rant on his myspace page sounding off in anger at how long it's taken for his finished album to hit shelves. Saigon just grows on you its hard to explain but ih been listing to this album for about a year and its seems to get better, his style is straight New York. Three things are always certain in this world, Death, Taxes, and a recording artist in a fight with their record label.
