Robin Thicke

After hearing Robin Thicke's new single "Magic", I was pretty hyped to hear his new album "Something Else" next month, but it looks like it's not going to happen. The follow up to "The Evolution Of Robin Thicke" won't be released until September 9th, which seems like an eternity from now. According to Wikipedia, these are six of the 11 tracks slated to appear on the album.

I got certain vibes of "Can You Feel It" by the Jackson 5 while watching this video. I've heard other people say he bit Ne-Yo's "Closer" video also... maybe Thicke took little elements from popular clips to create his own. In any event, I still love this song.

Mr. Robin Thicke, popped back into our lives after a bit of a hiatus earlier this year with his number one hit single, "Lost Without You". We've all heard it, and then some. there are a few songs out there, and i mean less than five, that give me the chills. if you have not heard this album, you really need to. this track, teach you a lesson, is simply delicious... ;) just listen and tell me, am i right or am i right??!?

This song is sick. I love it it's so beautiful his voice is amazing!

Sunday I was making the two-hour drive back to Royal Oak from Mt Pleasant... I have been listening to Buff1's Pure non-stop the past month, and had already listened to Ne-Yo's new release Because of You more than a couple times over the weekend, so I began going through what was in the disc-changer... so needless to say, mr thicke was on like 10 talk shows and of course his $15 show sold out! dammit! I hate it when the musicians I like get recognized by mainstream people! Then I have to either pay more or fight to get a ticket....I still love you Robin-but you have to get less popular if you expect me to come see you. Smooches.... :)

I just thought I'd let the world know what a poser I am :) so I had the opportunity to see the scissor sisters again and I decided I would see robin thicke instead-in my defense, I've seen the sisters before and have you seen robin thicke?? wow wow wowie....nuff said

I don't know if many people know this, but Robin Thicke is amazing, and he doesn't get nearly half as much credit as he should compared to a lot of the artists that are in the spotlight these days. He's one of the few with real talent that not many people get to hear and experience, to which I say they are severely missing out. Next time you're in the music section of a store and you spot his CD, pick it up, buy it, give it a listen. You won't be disappointed in the least ... MORE

I don't know why I'm listening to so much R&B; it usually isn't my thing at all. But as I was OCD cleaning my room at 3:30am, I played Robin Thicke's latest album. It's easier to listen to (ha, "easy listening") than KoRn when I'm trying to think. I got it off my sister and the slower songs are pretty good. If you don't want to buy the whole CD, I recommend "Lost Without U" (it's his newest single.) I had that on repeat as I was throwing the most random stuff away.

Just picked up the new Robin Thicke album 'The Evolution of Robin Thicke' and from the first listen it's pretty good. Kind of like a fusion of Timberlake and Maxwell. I was reading some of the reviews on itunes before I bought it and one review mentioned him having famous parents. So I decided to do a little investigative work and found (via Wikipedia) that his dad is none other than Alan Thicke from the uber-popular TV sitcom, Growing Pains. Just thought it was funny... MORE
