I've been quite lately.... at least I feel like I have.... so here are a few thoughts on the music that I have been hearing lately.... The Thermals... I saw them live last week. they were great. I wanted them to have a fuller feel, but their sound isn't all that full... The Big Sleep... the sexy bass player aside (and she had a voice that was amazing, and under used) opened for the Thermals and while they had some great 70's Sabbath like riffs, the tunes were too lo... Shelby Tate made a website for children he's working with in Cambodia. They are selling very cool paintings that the kids did themselves. I bought one the other day and it's great. http://serendipart.net

A great song, sets the mood for one of those so called rainy days I hear about. I first heard this song while watching the movie "Garden State", that movie is one of my favorites, if not my favorite. The soundtrack to it is amazing, every song on there is mellow, I enjoy a good mellow tune.... MORE

This is the best track from Villa Elaine. I think I first heard the album in a record shop called the Long Ear in Coeur d' Alene, ID.
