I caught an awesome Ramones documentary on
cable yesterday.(End Of The Century)
So, I have been basking in the short bursts of rock n roll purity that are the Ramones songs all morning.

At this point I'm convinced it's not just me; this election season really is bleeding into the music world in a way we haven't seen in decades. Thick black smoke billowed from a fire at the Austin City Limits Festival today, interrupting Pete Yorn's performance and injuring four people, two of them critically. The fire lasted for 40 minutes before firefighters were able to contain it, and the source of the blaze is thought to be a propane tank that was attached to a trailer that was situated behind vendors and between two of the stages. Pete Yorn was the first artist that MOG introduced me to and it was pretty much an instant seduction. I haven't yet had the excitement of seeing him live but this is a good substitute. Seattle, Feb 10, 2007. In a perfect MOG Amber would have been at that show and have a photo of Pete Yorn's shoes.
