Nouvelle Vague always finds awesome punk/ new wave/ etc songs and updates them in a bossa style.

Nouvelle Vague
Last night I was at the Silverlake lounge, and there was a band playing that reminded me of Nouvelle Vague. I think it was the girl's voice. I wish I knew what the band's name was... they ruled. So, story has it that Crammed Records is releasing a new 2006 edition of their compilation of Balkan-Gypsy band remixes.
This year's album will be released on Nov. 7th and features bands Nouvelle Vague and Animal Collective.
