So I was listening to a cover version of a very, very well known song today (I'm embarassed to say what it was, but no, it wasn't the Nirvana song attached to this post) and decided to look up the lyrics. I had always heard a few words one way, but the covering artist pronounced the words in a way that made me unsure of what the correct lyrics were. The ash remains of legendary Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain have gone missing from the Los Angeles area home of his rehab-prone widow Courtney Love. The game is simple. The rules are easy. You have a week to think about it. Here they are: 1. Pick a song (artist and title) that mentions the name of a celebrity in it. How else do we honor Kurt Cobain, but by marketing the shoe he killed himself in with his name on it. Yes, Converse will release a new limited edition series of shoes decorated with the late Nirvana frontman's drawings and writing from his 2002 book Journals. The kicks are out this May. Bizarrely, the first track I heard off this album was the hidden track, Endless Nameless. It's one of those moments when I can remember where I first heard it. I was standing in the old HMV in Crawley, UK, and this strange track came on the shop's sound system, I ended up having to ask who the artist was.
