I miss the rush of your skin
I miss the still of the silence
as you breathe out and I breathe in
if I could walk on water
if i could tell you what's next
make you believe
make you forget
come on get higher
loosen my lips
faith and desire
and the swing of your hips
just pull me down hard
and drown me in love
come on get higher
loosen my lips
faith and desire
and the swing of your hips
just pull me down hard
and drown me in love
I miss the sound of your voice
the loudest thing in my head

So.... A really good friend (well I thought was a good friend) is getting married. How did I find out? By other people. When is it? Not sure, wasn't invited.I guess I'm having a pity party. Need music to feed it. Give me some depressing songs... or happy, whichever you think is appropriate.
Just watch. (sorry embedding won't work, please click the link!) http://abcnews.go.com/video/playerIndex?id=5665944 What a story... not much more I can say, except I love Matt Nathanson even more now.
Matt Nathanson's new record 'Some Mad Hope' is full of songs about love ended and, like the title suggests, some mad hope of rekindling that love.
It's a beautiful record...heartbreaking at times, but beautiful.
Today, Matt Nathanson posted a video of himself playing "All We Are," the last track off of his forthcoming release, Some Mad Hope. I've converted it into an mp3 for your pleasure, check out www.mattnathanson.com for the video clip.
The song itself is very pretty. Great riff, nice progression, nice lyrics and vocals. Well done Matt.

i got the privilage to see matt nathanson over the summer and he is the funnist musican out there today and he also dumps his soul on stage. this isn't from the "at the point" cd but its live, so its the cloest i get. watch and listen....
I have been on a major singer/songwriter kick lately...we all go through phases as music lovers...lately i have been listening more to this sort of stuff than the traditional rock band oriented stuff.
I just wanted to post another Matt Nahthanson song before i stepped out...i can't stop playing his latest record.
