Today the good news that Madonna has sold over one million tickets to her Sticky & Sweet tour is overshadowed by British media reports that the pop queen is getting a divorce to her husband of seven years, director Guy Ritchie. We all know that Madonna isn't one to hold back, especially when it comes to her music. Turns out, she can be pretty "sensitive" at times too. I spent April 27 searching for any way I could snag tickets to Madonna's exclusive, free concert at Roseland Ballroom on April 30. My friend is a HUGE fan and I didn't get to get her tickets to the last tour. That whole weekend I kept my ear close to the radio, so I would know when to call Z100 who was giving out tickets almost every hour. That was unsuccessful...

Madonna is apparently paying tribute to "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott by playing what sounds a lot like the main riff to Pantera's classic song "A New Level" during her May 10, 2008 performance at Radio One's Big Weekend at Mote Park in Maidstone, UK.

On the heels of her successful debut atop the Billboard 200 with Hard Candy, Madonna is heading out another world tour. The pop queen will be taking her private jet across Europe and the US at the end on the summer up through Thanksigving. Nothing can stop Madonna. The woman, as projected earlier last week, is Number One again on the Billboard Top 200 with her latest album Hard Candy. Her album sold 280,000 copies its debut week, crowning Madonna with her seventh Number One debut. Only Barbara Streisand has one up on Madonna with eight Number One debuts.
