In a day and age where the Billboard charts are a depressing thing to look at, what Weezy has just accomplished is quite a feat.
Up until today the album with the highest first week sales was Mariah Carey's E=MC2, but theres a new sheriff in town and his name is Weezy. Lil Wayne's Tha Carter 3 has sold over 1 million copies since last tuesday according to The Associated Press.

Wow l bought it yesterday. Listened to it last night, fell asleep with it playing on the ipod. Then today at the supermarket (while performing an activity I hate) I gave it a careful listen and I am now ready to give Wayne his props. The Carter III is the sh_t. One of the things I love about hip hop music, is that at least once a year everyone and their mothers jump on the same beat and try to rip it. It's competition driven, but without all of the nasty negativity and drama. I thought it would be cool to compile all the A Milli "freestyles" I could find. Everyone from Jay-Z to Fabolous to Chris Brown and Jadakiss have jumped on this in the last month.

What about a lawsuit could be so awesome you ask? Check out this letter included with the complaint against Weezy. Businessman Le Marck de Andre wants $123,800 from Wayne (that De Andre says Wayne has owed him for years) for work done on the rappers vehicle.
De Andre's complaint sounds like it was co-written by Jesse Jackson and Don King, check out the verbage....

The Good: Excellent production (Kanye tore it down). Diverse array of sounds,vibes, and topics. No verses from Birdman :)
The Bad: No Mannie Fresh beats???? It wouldn't hurt if Wayne used just little structure in his songs sometimes.

Yes, the anticipation is so thick for The Carter III that even the track list is causing lengthy debate. Hungry fans now have a full list of guest appearances and producers to buttress their claims that this is going to be the greatest album of the year.
I'm looking forward to hearing "Dinnertime", where Wayne eats other rappers alive (complete with chewing sounds alledgedly) and the collab with Jay-Z.
