Jason Anderson sounds to me like Bruce Springsteen...if Bruce was way too introspective. I guess Anderson has 'emo' tendencies, but his earnest songwriting and the way he names names and names places brings an instant authenticity to his songs, and make them more than palatable. So earlier this week I posted a quick review of Jason Anderson’s The Hopeful & The Unafraid and here I am following-up with another post on the same album. I not only feel the need to share with you all another gorgeous song by Mr. Anderson (watch, I will post them all eventually!), but also want to prove that he is not just another Bruce Springsteen parody.

'The best thing in the world is to love someone and they love you back' What a simple sentiment, but I don't think I have ever it phrased like that in a song before. Meet Jason Anderson. What a great songwriter. I think it's his attention to detail that gives him so much credibility with me. I've been away a couple of days in Northampton MA on what looks like the only real vacation I'll get this year -- no email or anything. I did manage to get out to the Flywheel on Friday night to see K records' Jason Anderson.
