So, last week was the SCI-FI-LONDON film festival which I have been helping organise, and on Sunday night we hosted the world premiere of CHEMICAL WEDDING, the bastard love child of Bruce Dickinson and Julian Doyle. The film was brilliant - totally like the old Hammer Horrors. I mean, 2 stars in Empire magazine, but that magazine is SHIT. The film is totally a cult classic, but new. A new cult classic. At the Q&A session after (which we weren't meant to film), I was am... MORE
Radiohead did it, NIN did it, why not Maiden? Iron Maiden are caught in a time warp between the thrashing '80s and the millennial '08s! The band is about to start their "Somewhere Back In Time - World Tour" which features classic hits as well as new material. Today Maiden announced that they will bring the 2 worlds together with the digital release of their greatest hits from 2 decades ago. The greatest hits album is also titled Somewhere Back In Time and it will be av... MORE

Atlast I have band (actually two bands) that will make live performances more often and even one per month...that`s two gigs per month!!! I`ve been playing since 80`s, but for some reason there has been only 20-30 gigs before this year. Both bands are coverbands, but somewhere at near future there will be some own material too. Both The Coverslaves plays Iron Maiden and Purplestone started between 2005 and 2006. It took couple of years to find right line-ups and ofcourse a... MORE

So I started writing this book years ago, decided to make it a few more. But stopped because of that very succesful Deadmans thing (GAg!). The scary thing in my books is that it's a satillite system that reads your bodies electric system. It's a bio system like the vid, this almost a first step to my idea. Cool aye!
My most recent, and most exciting concert, was the Iron Maiden concert March 16, 2008 at the Air Canada Centre. I bought the latest album (A Matter of Life and Death) to support them incase they were on the tour to promote it, which would be unusual because they released in in 2005. My favourite song on it was, and still is, The Pilgrim, probably because it has Arabic influences that tie into their past themes from the Powerslave album and Somewhere In Time. I then learn...
