I was actually partial to Ingrid Michaelson 's new album. After one of my friends introduced her music to me, it was inevitable that I'd like her music. Her absence in music scene was eminent with the arrival of fold-pop singers like Sara Bareilles and Meiko didn't help either.
Her Chain track (listen to it here ) was pretty good, compared to her title track, Be Ok . Despite Be Ok's finger-snapping beat, the rest of her tracks are fit for kindergarteners ("I can do ... MORE

Another lovely live performance from Ingrid at the Mile High Music Festival... think I need to join that music club...lol I woke up this morning with a funny taste in my head.

I keep talking about this song, and I probably won't stop, because it means so much to me. When I first heard it, i knew Ingrid was singing about an ended relationship and a broken heart. Even knowing this, I never thought about it that way because of how much of myself I heard in the lyrics. Who doesn't have days (or weeks, or months, or years) where they just want to be ok? It's a long story involving an all-night mix-making marathon and a hotel that didn't give me any hours next week, but the short version is I get to spend 5 nights back home in Abington! On Saturday night I was able to check out a dynamic duo of artists: David Ford and Ingrid Michaelson . I'd been looking forward to the show ever since finding out about it as I sincerely enjoy both of their musical output. David's latest album, Songs For the Road - which came out earlier this year, is a brilliant album that I had every intention of writing about but somehow didn't.

Ingrid Michaelson, has followed up her successful album, Girls and Boys, with another pleasant record, Be OK. Michaelson is known for her simple, yet soothing, and honest pop friendly ballads.

Just got back from the Ingrid Michaelson concert at the Fillmore. I had planned to write a full review of the show, but I am just too tired and I know I'll forget tomorrow. So here's what you need to know: -First act was Philly native George Stanford. completely forgettable. -Greg Laswell was good, but most of his songs are incredibly sad.
