Remember the song 'Rhythm Is A Dancer' by Snap back in 1992?Well it's being used in the latest ad for Drench Spring Water. See Brains from Thunderbirds strut his stuff in a way I've never seen him do it before! I think he looks scarily like the lead singer from Hot Chip, Alexis Taylor. Apparently PuppetCraft created and operated a Brains puppet for the filming with CGI used in post production. It's quite impressive and certainly got me watching. Not sure even John Malkov... MORE

First they dropped DRM, now they're dropping mp3s. Has EMI been infiltrated by hippies or commune-ists? Today the record label released the title track from Hot Chip's forthcoming album Made In The Dark FREE for download. Hot Chip and Free Blood made for dance party crazy at the Crystal Ballroom this last week. Free Blood was definitely interesting but so loud tonsils were vibrating and the super loudness marred the ability to truly listen to the music. Some of the songs were great and when possible I will give it a further listen. Hot Chip was fantastic. The intense way that the entire band threw themselves into their music was brilliant!
