Since my wife and I watched the DVD collection of the first season of Flight of The Conchords it's been the most common denominator between us. The show is golden. You have to see it if you haven't already. Comedy gold. Plus the music is dope. I've been listening to this more than anything for the last month. So good. Watch it already. Oh yeah. It was business time last night at Davies Symphony Hall. And Flight of the Conchords were leading bringing it all. I had the beauty of sitting very near the front, dead center, and it was great. A wonderful view of the entire wonderful show.
You know a band has the audience eating out their palm when one of the members of the band laughs a little too loudly and this sends the audience on a two minute laughing spree. They didn't even have to speak. At some points... MORE

I didn't really know what to expect when when I went to see Flight of the Conchords live last week. I was hoping it would be funny, but at the same time I had heard the songs so many times, would I be bored?
Arj Barker, who plays Dave on the show, opened with a stand up set which was hilarious. He introduced Flight of the Conchords, who opened with "Robots." While they played many of the songs that have appeared on their show and albums, there were some small differen... MORE

I forgot to talk about flight of the conchords in the last post. I saw them play on thursday at ameoba. I didn't even think i'd get in the line was so long. But after much anticipation i did, but ended up getting one of the most terrible spots in the whole store. I could barely see the stage. My dissapointment dissapeared once they came on stage (although i could only see their heads come on stage). Their songs kept me smirking the entire time. Their song choice wasn'... MORE

Flight of the Conchords have teased us long enough with their 6-track EP The Distant Future and are finally coming proper with a full-length album on Sub Pop. The new album is self titled (the band, the HBO show and the album are all called Flight of the Conchords!), features 15 well-rounded tracks and will be available starting April 22.
