Apparently there's been a few people who have mogged about CAN in the past, but for whatever reason I never noticed them until Groon's krautrock post.
I was finally able to find a cd of theirs at Half Priced Books of all places. It's pretty amazing. Hopefully I'll be able to obtain some more (if I'm not too busy buying vinyl. Quadrophenia: Great condition: $13!)
Here is track 1:
Damo's coming! I had no idea! Proves how out of touch I'd been... Damo Suzuki's touring with his ever-changing variety of like-minded un-rehearsed musicians, and will be at the Roadhouse (the best venue in Manchester by miles) this Friday (16 Nov). I'll be there (and I'll let you know how it goes). If it's any good, I'll be in St Helens the following night too... Still can't persuade my mates to show, though. They're all off to see Ryan Adams the previous night, f... MORE

mine?
"searching for my blow-up doll, yes i am!"
(from "halleluwah" by can)
An unusual mix by the Vinyl Monkeys (32mins mp3).
Can anybody shed light on the artists and track titles played within? I got as far as the first track... CAN's 'Pinch' on Ege Bamyasi (I think).
Help!

my previous CAN post had a lovely ascii rendition of 13 CAN albums names. it said that these 13 albums would be available digitally on March 13th, but i called it a sad joke, because i could not verify that info anywhere, not even with Spoon records. UPDATE :: IT’S NOT A JOKE!!! i received this from Michael Goldberg :
