In my opinion, one of Buckethead's finest moments. He's done a lot of great stuff but Population Override gets me every time I listen to it.
From "Unrestrained Growth" with a funky sludge breakdown to the last track "..." ending the album on a bluesy note, the album finds balance throughout while skipping from metal to funk to blues to ambient guitar noodling without breaking concentration.
Truly an epic and, more importantly, a convincing journey.

Pick the flash version... and be forewarned, some of the links don't work. Butt hay... the guy has a lot of imagination and is one heck of a killer guitar player.

Now this was a fun show! Buckethead gives my wife the creeps - she would have hated this show! The Iron Horse is such a small venue and we were so close to him that I kinda had the creeps, too.
This band was called Giant Robot II, which included turntables, drums, bass and of course Buckethead on guitar.

As just another product of this upcoming generation, they are a lot of traditions i just don't care to understand, and well easter is one of them. Back in the day(1990's) this was a big deal. My mother would dress us up in our even better Sunday best outfit,the girls at church would would all be in dresses. We would get baskets and look for eggs,... wait hold on.......EGGS??? Tool Tour To Be Rescheduled
Los Angeles, CA - February 21, 2007 - Tool will be rescheduling their upcoming North American tour due to an injury in the band. Over the weekend, drummer Danny Carey tore a bicep. Danny underwent surgery TODAY and is recovering well. Rescheduled tour dates will be announced shortly.

Back when, when I was holed up in Terre Haute, Indiana for a month or so, I was rooming with a fellow whilst attending some classes on graphic design and such. Buckethead might be best known for wearing that creepy mask and a KFC bucket on his head, and playing some of the fastest, noisiest, most insane-sounding experimental music out there. But to me, the (relatively) understated album "Colma" is his masterpiece. You won't come across many "guitar heroes" who are willing to tone down the rock to something this mellow and atmospheric....
