Ash where writing and recording Petrol and Uncle Pat which latter appeared on the mini Trailer album. Because they where so young, everyone was expecting them to grow into something massive but although they had a UK number 1 album and a number of top 20 singles, they have never really lived up to the promise... . . .

So this is my third attempt at posting this this morning. What's Up, MOG?
Anyway, this track, by Ash, is one of those tracks which is difficult to judge on it's own merits because the original looms so large. But I guess that could be said of any Beatle cover (individually or collectively)
So, You be the judge.
Good on it's own?

I figured I should start my first post with the first album I fell in love with, and that was Ash's debut album 1977. I remember buying the cassette and I would listen to it repeatedly. My favourite tracks were, of course, the now classic Girl From Mars and Angel Interceptor. I still hear Girl From Mars being played now and again on radio stations today, but I never hear Angel Interceptor, so here it is.

hey,So Today was a wierd one, in a sense that I woke up at half six in the morning already showerd and changed and wating for the bus. Uasually I am not up untill half one and thats on a good day, I consider myself more of a night person.
