I'm loving the whole Memory Man album and this one's one of my favorite tracks, along with Something to Believe In and Rolls So Deep. There's one user in YouTube who made an interesting comment about Aqualung's not being appreciated enough. Well as far as I can see, I could agree with him. I mean, Aqualung's amazing! yea, so as the name suggests, this post is basically gonna be pretty cynical. it features me venting my problem(s) in a way most likely boring, disinteresting, and lame, but i've to do it, it's for my own good. and it's my blog anyway.

A week ago Aqualung came into town and preformed at The Pabst Theatre. This was their third time headlining a show at the Pabst and possibly the 9th time I’ve seen them in concert. No, I am not insane, they’re just an amazing band to see live. So on that note, here is my slightly biased review of the show.

I just got the new Aqualung CD yesterday and I tell you- it just made the drive home in the gorgeous spring weather that much better. Although it hasn't taken the place of Strange & Beautiful for me yet, I've been enjoying the new tunes, which are a slight departure from the old stuff. I would say overall it has a spacey/airy feeling to it (if that makes any sense).

The music was pretty good. Anxious to hear more of Aqualung's new album.
I keep hearing reports that there's a spin-off in the works to take Addison's character to a different city & hospital for her own show. Can't see that making it.... MORE

I saw a little concert last night. As I sat in the audience disgruntled by the fact that the people behind me were being obnoxiously drunken and loud, a chord was struck on the piano a few feet infront of me and a hush fell over the (majority) of the audience. Matt from Aqualung had stepped on stage without most people noticing, he just sat down and started to play. It was a song I hadn't heard yet, but I loved it. The loop button on my ipod is such a dangerous thing, cradled in the "Rock It IPod DJ" its a little ironic (and incredibly cliched) to see the robot DJ spinning tight beats like he's playing Grandmaster Flash or M.I.A. when what he's really doing is supplying me with my heroin, which is tragic love songs...
