MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

(132)

Yesterday I had delivered to me my autographed copy of Pharoahe Monch's new album Desire, and upon first listen, it has catapulted itself into my Top 5 for 2007 without a problem.

I'll try to put up a full review on this later, but for now I wanted to share Pharoahe's 2007/updated version of Public Enemy's classic "Welcome to the Terrordome."

Wow, awesome track! I downloaded this album a couple weeks ago, and still haven't given it a listen. I'll have to remedy that.

Hey Troy! Glad I'm not the only one who is guilty of that. It can take months before I listen to something.

Troy- remedy it quick... it's really good. And I'm also in the club where you buy an album and don't get around to listening to it for a while...

I will have to be looking into this one soon. Glad to see there have been a slew of great hip hop records to come out as of late

I anticipate Common's album being a fucking classic. I think Kanye really breathed new life into that dude.

This is UNBELIEVABLY great. Never woulda' thunk I would have said that about a cover of one of my favorite PE songs ever. Dayum.

I heard this track a few weeks ago on another site and for the life of me couldn't remember the name of the artist - I am now psyched.

Thanks for the memory kick man.

anytime memphis... and Michelle, I'm with ya, it is surprising that this was able to be pulled off, but Pharoahe is definitely the one dude who could handle it...

Troy- damn right on that!
