When I see a post that consists of little else than "Click This, Hurry!" I usually just move on. It's rare that I get a laugh out of whatever was so epic the author couldn't bear to describe it. But something told me this time was different, and Boy Am I Glad I Clicked! Remember the Chuck E. Cheese house band? Ever wonder what it would look like singing the latest hip-hop and RnB hits? How about Usher's "Love In This Club"? Well, wonder no more - Click This, Hurry!
This should totally replace the other version as the official video! FADER Mag reports that this is actually the Showbiz Pizza Place's Rock-afire Explosion band performing in the vid...
Is this why I keep hearing 5 year olds on the bus singing this tune? I swear, every time I ride the city bus, there is some kid under 9 y.o. singing either this or the latest Lil Wayne hit. I still haven't decided if the kids sound better when they chant the same line over and over and over and over again, like only kids and rappers are capable of, or if they add an extra layer of redundancy to an already boring tune. Of course, kids don't usually repeat the real clever songs. I'd like to hear the little tykes take on The Roots or Wu-Tang or Outkast or something!
If you have kids or hang out with kids, what are they singing this month?
