I bet I know what AC/DC's album is going to sound like. And yet, for some reason I give them a free pass for making the same album over and over again...

I like that Les Savy Fav pretty well. Never heard of them before.

It's been 8 years for AC\DC? Wow it almost seems like yesterday since the last one. AC\DC is like Motorhead, and Slayer, that they pretty much make the same every album like Scotch says. I also give them a free pass . The last one was pretty good, but I still think their last best one was Back in Black that was originally written when Bon Scott was still alive. I dig the Bon Scott recordings better than Brian Johnsons. Hear they throw a great show. I gotta try and catch them on this tour.

I've never heard of Les Savy Fav either. They have this Depes Mode (did I butcher their name?) meets A Perfect Circle sound to them. Cool tune.

Neil Diamond wow! Didn't know he was still making records.

i was pretty surprised by this list too. especially the Neil Diamond. Les Savy Fav are great!! The bassist Syd, is the founder of French Kiss Records which is a fabulous indie label. LSF have been rocking for like 10 years now, but they're so hardcore and so weird that they are only now being invited to play in the mainstream waters. If you want to hear more of their stuff, search youtube and be sure to watch their performance at McCarren pool in Brooklyn... :)

The McCarren Pool performance was... interesting. The lead singer looks like he's tripping his @$$ off. Good music, though.

Ray - Back in Black is credited thusly: All songs written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Brian Johnson. WTF? Did they screw Bon Scott out of writing credits posthumously?

Scotch: From what I heard a lot music was originally written for Bon Scott. Don't know if Bon Scott contributed too the music of not. Brian Johnson probaly was recuited in time for him to write his own lyrics. Don't know if the whole album was written by the time Brian joined.
