My Australian friends aren't necessarily known for being the most politically correct of the crowd. They'll say pretty much whatever they want....and ain't afraid to offend....

So it's little surprise that they introduced me to this video by openly gay African-American singer/songwriter/actor known as Samwell whose gotten intense fame off of these 3 plus minutes of sheer ridiculousness.

All you born again Christians beware- this is a spoof about anal sex...........not for the tame of heart or conscience.

Regardless, the beat's actually pretty infectious.... :)

MORE? Another Spoof....

Curious where he got the idea for this? Here's an interview with the infamous man himself:

Personally I think it's total crap, but then I hate that style of dance music as it is, so ignore me lol

It's a total joke tho..... not really in a category of music perse... but 15 million views says something doesn't it?

If ur free Manhattan this weekend? Check out the EAST VILLAGE RADIO FESTIVAL......

This weekend is the first annual East Village Radio Festival, set to take place tomorrow September 6 from 1 to 6  pm.

** HOWEVER, it was just announced it may be moved till Sunday due to weather conditions.....Check THIS LINK tomorrow After 6 AM just in case....

Regardless, whether Saturday or Sunday, it should be a perfect day for a beer by the water, while watching some up-and-coming (and about 2 established) DJs and bands: Boris, Flying Lotus, High Places, Devin the Dude, Awesome Color, Vivian Girls, Dr. Lonnie Smith, The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, and Ólöf Arnalds, as well as John Oliver of The Daily Show.

In particular, Mark Ronson will be headlining around 6 pm....He's long since been seen spinning out of the little nook in the East Village- so we figure this is one easy pay back.

Another highlight should be Olof Arnalds, an icelandic chanteuse.....with a distinctive charm....she's on at 2:30pm....

Also may be a good time to hang with rest of the Ronson clan: Lindsay snogging Samantha Ronson.....Charlotte Ronson the clothing designer chilling out from the fashion week ruckus....

Wooga. Nice way to spend the last days of summer no?

Sounds like blast -- too bad I'm anchored in DC this weekend,  they've canceled every outdoor event here this weekend because the rain.

That Lohan-Ronson thing is big news now -- should be some good pix.

Yeah, I saw it advertised in the Village Voice.

Not sure I want to endure yet-another rain-soaked "outdoor fest" (remember Ting Tings/MGMT at McCarren pool?)

I've been into the crazy of recent. Songs that sounds like pills and opium make you feel. A bit magical, a bit fanciful, a bit straight jacket. Thus, Apes & Androids has been feeding all my urges of recent. They are Ziggy Stardust Bowie w. a bit of Brooklyn Panache- with electronic pastiche- psycheledia interspersed. Check it:

Since their performances are also supposed to be mad and wild (yes that's a korean drum circle in the video above), and they are close neighbors, they are on the top of my list of bands to see tomorrow or the next day (this list including also near insane Hercules & Love Affair). For us NYers, the bummer is their only next set date is London Hoxton on October 3rd. Gonna have to be patient on this one :)

wooga.
