I haven't managed to let this record escape the confines of my car, which, considering the power that this song has to overcome me with the urge to BOUNCE, is a fairly frightening thing.
I've been on a nostalgic kick recently which has inspired me to listen to some older albums... and have to confess that this song has been on repeat. It's flippin wonderful. The bass line "remember the foggy windows..." reminds me of that old monster mash song. I'm instantly 8 years old again, clad with an oversized shirt, high top rebox, and hot pink biker shorts. It's disgustingly great. (I know, not the most impressive comparison for one who hasn't experienced the glory of their sound yet... It might be wise for those of you who are more weary to start out with their Fingers Crossed album or track 2 of In Case We Die-- "It'5.")
Anyway, just let this post serve as a warning for those brave enough to face the roads knowing I'm out there with this album in my car. Watch out.
