Songs You Should Be Listening To

Just beautiful. Rivers and the gang stepped up and made me forget that Make Believe was even released. As my good buddies officeglenn and Lamicus pointed out, Weezer released a Queen album. This song would fit in perfectly on A Night At The Opera, oh how Freddie would be proud. Glenn mentioned that he can't see college kids singing along to this like Bohemian Rhapsody. I have to respectfully disagree with that one. I can totally see kids of the male persuasion adopting this track as their theme song and belting it out at the top of their lungs for years and years.
The fact that it's preceded by Troublemaker and followed by Pork & Beans is just icing.
Weezer is back. Huzzah!
Oh yeah, I wish Everybody Get Dangerous was on Guitar Hero.

It's funny. When I was in high school, I would have made fun of myself for listening to stuff like this, but as I get older I am enjoying this stuff more and more. God bless Scotland for Teenage Fanclub, Belle & Sebastian, and their delicious style of whisky.

I unabashedly love this song too. It reminds me of a Mentos commercial.....
...and if "high-school me" knew I loved Belle and Sebastian so much....he'd laugh.
So, I heard a clip of this on a talk show on the radio on the way back to work from lunch today and I remembered how much the bass line freakin' rocks. The drumsticks on the hi-hat stand aren't too shabby either. Hell, this is just a classic all around.
I'm the last splash.

I do believe this is one of Spike Jonze's first forays into music video as well.

Oddly, I heard this song on Sirius yesterday (Channel 24, Joel, you need to get one of these things), and was marvelling over what a great line the "I'll be your whatever you want" was.
Good pick, young fella

Damned nice to see you MOGgin' again, champ.
I love this album, front to back. I think it's bumping Maladroit out of third spot in the Weezer pantheon, IMSNFHO.
The only thing is, they're wrong. I am the greatest man who ever lived.
