I bought The Stage Names from E-Music last year sometime and it fast became one of my favourite ever albums. In a way I'm glad I found out about this band late on because it meant I had quite alot of their work to catch up on and enjoy. If you still haven't given them a listen I recommend the above album and then perhaps Don't Fall In Love With Everyone You See which is also really strong.
The lead singer/songwriter, Will Sheff, has a real talent with words. Many of his songs come over like small stories and deal with the usual love/loss theme but often have a really sinister, creepy feel about them. Check out the haunting 'Westfall' from the ......With Everyone You See Album.
They recently released an album of cover songs, which you can download for free from their website. It's a bit hit and miss but there a few good tunes on there.
I've uploaded the last track from The Stage Names below. Its one of my favourite songs. Can't wait until the next album.
