Liars just announced that they will open for Radiohead at a handful of shows in the US in May. The trio of art-rockers are riding one big wave of success after another - last year they toured extensively with Interpol, then headlined a tour of their own, and recently won the Plug Independent Music Award for Avant Album of the Year! Opening for Radiohead makes so much sense - it's a treat for the band and fans alike! I'd rather see Liars and Radiohead the same night than Liars and Interpol - what about you?

This will be awesome. I loved Drum's not Dead. This mix is not surprising, as Radiohead has a habit of picking favorites as openers (see the odd mis-match of Low/Radiohead).
