Agh! Bad things happen to good people, especially the Little Ones. The LA-based indie pop group has been trying to get back on track after being dumped by EMI during the company’s huge corporate restructuring a couple months back.

It’s always a blast to put a new entry on the favorite-band list, and that’s what happened when canny music-biz insider Dave the Duke encouraged me to stop by the Bottom of the Hill - a reliably ahead-of-the-curve nightclub in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood - and catch The Little Ones earlier this week. I heard the song "Lovers Who Uncover" the other day on KEXP.org ... great, infectious pop song. I immediately headed to iTunes to purchase the EP. Do yourself a favor and pick this up, or borrow it from a friend.
