Just received an advance of Through the Wilderness: A Tribute to Madonna and, let’s be honest, I am normally not that interested in anything to do with the material girl. But this is pretty cool, a collection of 15 covers by artists including Ariel Pink, Giant Drag, the Tyde and Lavender Diamond. Also in the bonus column, 23% of the proceeds go to Malawi Rising, an African AIDS charity that Madonna supports.
