I bought my first Cursive album on a hunch. It was actually a miracle I got into the band in the first place. My brother, off of a sprite bottle cap, got a code for a free song off itunes. And me, being the brat that I was, took it and used it for the Cursive song "Driftwood". I played the song to death for two weeks before I went to the mall and purchased "The Ugly Organ" along with Hot Hot Heat's "Make Up The Break Down". I always found Hot Hot Heat's sound easie... MORE
Today is my One Year Anniversary on Mog. A year ago, when I created my account, I was in a completely different state – literally.
Now I have a different zip code and a new job – and Mog. I had forgotten all about this site, pretty much right after i found it for some reason, and have recently discovered it again. So, I guess it’s not technically my “Anniversary.” It’s more like my poser-versary.

the artists of Nebraska..........I truly believe this album belongs in the company of those that envision a mental play through music......Tommy comes to mind, or the Wall. great album. Enjoy!

So whats your favorite Cursive song? I know, there are so many to choose from, but I think i'm going with "Some Red Handed Slight of Hand" just because I love the line "The Is the blood I found on my hands/after I wrote this album/play it off as stigmata for cross-over fans/some red handed slight of hand"
