Remember back in the days....
Before Kanye had ever released a single, before people knew how to correctly pronounce his name. Before College Dropout and "Jesus Walks", he was just an unknown producer working under D.Dot and eventually an in-house producer for Roc-A-Fella.
This "Beat Drop" blog post on Metal Lungies takes a look and breaks down some of Kanye's best moments as a producer. Some of the memorable tracks he created before he found fame like Beanie Sigel's "The Truth" and Goodie Mob's "Rebuilding".
You can take a look (or listen) and follow his growth as a musician and how his influences (J. Dilla, RZA) had an effect on his style.

One particular track that isn't covered in the post is "You Don't Know My Name' by Alicia Keys. It's probably one of my favorite R&B songs ever and I was genuinely surprised when I found out Kanye produced it.
