Why did Revolution never make any of REM's albums properly?
I'm not really feeling bad. I just LOVE Revolution. It makes me want to shimmy.
Chanukkah's nearly over, and I'm now wrapping gifts for non-Jewish friends, with difficulty as I'm also trying to dance around, and I keep squealing as iTunes throws up great tracks. I've been making a mix for a friend of mine. As a cheap Xmas present, I'm giving her my old iPod shuffle, and filling it with music. It's made me go through my music collection with a fine toothcomb, leading me to rediscover music that isn't Joanna Newsom!
R.E.M. were a big favourite of mine many years ago, although I kinda gave up on them on the last few records. I don't know why though. So many ace tunes.
Now I didn't realise I had this track, but iTunes just played it at me. I defy you to listen/watch and not be in the mood for skipping around like a mad thing!

I love this... I just piped this over the stereo and Chris said "this is about the only thing that can make me happy this early in the morning." (He's not a morning person.) But this did the trick. I love it. :)

omg, i have a huge smile on my face now!!! love that song & used to really be into rem but then they got too mellow(except for "monster" which i love cause it just rocks out). i own "out of time" as well & the rest of cd is great. that muppet doing the kate(from the b52's) vocal & look is perfect! michael is still so cool.
this reminds me of the song weezer did with the muppets called "keep fishin" off their maladroit cd. funny vid & rivers looks so adorable in it. you can find it on youtube or weezer's site.
