There's an interview with Sean Lennon posted today over at the Star Wars site - professing his love for "The Empire Strikes Back" and Yoda in particular.
Says Lennon: "The scene where Yoda describes the Force to Luke is the closest thing I can remember to a religious experience in my childhood," and "The music is as important as anything else in the film," Lennon says. "The music is its own character. Whenever it appears, it creates a certain impression, and is propelling the narrative as much as anything else. I have the original soundtrack on vinyl. It is a masterpiece."
Cool to think of John & Yoko bringing their "beautiful boy" to see this movie (same year John was shot)... and Sean trying to levitate Yoko's station wagon using The Force.
Who knew?
