MOG wasn't feeling the hotness in the new Lykke Li video I posted last week, so I'm hoping this new Duffy video for "Stepping Stone" makes up for it. I own Duffy's debut, but somehow this song got overshadowed by the hits "Mercy" "Rockferry" and "Warwick Avenue," probably because it's so slow and mellow.

Just because something is popular doesn't always mean it isn't good. There's something real in her voice, the sadness and hurt that's there as she sings this song. And this song is quite good. I think she could be the real deal.
